Philosophy during Paul\u2019s day called (Gnosticism<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Turn to Psalm 69:20-21. This is a psalm where the psalmist not only describes his own (pain and thirst<\/strong><\/span>), but also foretells the (Savior\u2019s<\/strong><\/span>) pain and thirst.<\/p>\n

Twice Jesus was offered something to drink.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Before nailed to cross, he was offered wine mixed with gall, which had a (narcotic<\/strong><\/span>) effect.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sour wine which the OT called (vinegar<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
