I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 WHERE WE STAND \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>

In 7:25 Paul tells us that the only thing which will set us free is the (atoning work of Jesus Christ<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Romans 8:1 tells us we are free. How is that a benefit?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are (eternally<\/strong><\/span>) free.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are (internally<\/strong><\/span>) free. [Verse 2]<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are (positionally perfect<\/strong><\/span>). [Verses 3-4]<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 WHAT WE CHOOSE \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
\n\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Two kinds of lives that will manifest themselves:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Life according to the flesh. [5a,6a, 7-8]<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They have a fleshly (mindset<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They have a deadly (future<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They are hostile (toward God<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They have an inability to (please God<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Life according to the Spirit. [5b, 6b, 9-11]<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It has a (spiritual orientation<\/strong>)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It has a (peaceful existence<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It is empowered by (t<\/span>he Spirit<\/strong>).<\/p>\n
