I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE DESCRIPTION OF THE CORRESPONDENT \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

How He is described:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The (holy One<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 To say this is to say He is (absolutely flawless<\/strong><\/span>) and (unblemished<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The (true One<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 Top say this is to say He is (genuine<\/strong><\/span>), credible, dependable, (and real<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The (key of David<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 To say this is to speak to His (absolute authority<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 \u201cThere is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we can be saved.\u201d Acts 4:12<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 THE DESCRIPTION OF THE CHURCH \u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Four qualities of a faithful church:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You have but (little power<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You have kept (my word<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You have not (denied my name<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You have (patient endurance<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

They had unprecedented opportunities:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus would humble (their enemies<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus would keep them from (maximum affliction<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus would make them (strong and secure<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0\u00a0 “And I, behold, I make you this day a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land\u2026They will fight against you but not prevail against you.\u201d Jer.1:18-19<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus would give them a (new identity<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
