25: 14:30<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 TWO SERVANTS (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Expectantly watching<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Two observations to make:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 While Jesus presents that two servants are involved, He is not at all interested in their (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>particular responsibility<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 The point we need to remember is every follower of Christ is a (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>servant or slave<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>one or the other<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>II.\u00a0\u00a0 TEN VIRGINS (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Patiently waiting<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Several thoughts come out of this parable:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This is a (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>big wedding party<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This is an unusually (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>large wedding party<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The wedding night is filled with (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>problems not bride wants<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Historically, this is (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>day one<\/strong><\/span>) of the wedding feast.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The groom was (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>late-very late<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>III.\u00a0 THREE STEWARDS (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Diligently working<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The three parables are braided together to give us an understanding of what it means to be (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>faithful<\/strong><\/span>) as we await the (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>return of Christ<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">What does this parable teach us?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The wealthy man clearly represents (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Christ<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The three servants represent (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>us<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>NEXT WEEK: \u00a0\u00a0Theme: Unsinkable\/ Series: Servants<\/p>\n<p>Title: No Fence\/No Limit- Luke 10:25-37<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THEME: Unsinkable SERIES: Servants TITLE: Intangible Scripture: Matthew 24:45\u00a0 &#8211;
