I.\u00a0\u00a0 THE BACKSTORY BEHIND THE TRUTH<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This story is so marvelous and so miraculous in every way it could have come from (the mind of God<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

The Christmas story in short: God would take on (human flesh<\/strong><\/span>) and invade His sin-broken world with His wisdom, power, glory, and grace. He would do that in the (person of His Son, Jesus Christ<\/strong><\/span>), but He would not descend to a palace. He would, instead, come to a stable. And He would come for one purpose and one purpose only: (to save us<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

The word advent means (coming<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 THE REVELATION OF THE TRUTH \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u201cWhat comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.\u201d A.W. Tozer<\/p>\n

Turn to Isaiah 9:2, 5-7<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If Jesus Christ is really Mighty God and Everlasting Father, you can\u2019t just (like<\/strong><\/span>) Him.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If Jesus Christ is the Wonderful Counselor and Prince of Peace, you should (want<\/strong><\/span>) to serve Him.<\/p>\n

Wrap up thoughts:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It means we are far more precious to God than we could (ever imagine<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It means there is far more to celebrate than (we thought<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It means we will (never be alone<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
