Nor does it mean God is against me, although sometimes I may feel that way. In my trouble, it helped immensely to know that I was going through something that happens to most of God\u2019s beloved children.\u201d (Ryken-p.16)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\n\u201cFor it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake.\u201d Phil.1:29<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\n\u201cBeloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ\u2019s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.\u201d I P.4:12-13<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\n\u201cIt is doubtful God can bless a man greatly until He has hurt him deeply.\u201d Tozer<\/p>\n<h4>\n<strong>II.\u00a0\u00a0 THE LESSONS\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cSuffering is inevitable; misery is optional.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\nWhat lessons can we learn about trials?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">They are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">(<strong>inevitable<\/strong>).<\/span><br \/>\nThey do have a (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>purpose<\/strong><\/span>).<br \/>\nThey show us where our (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>true strength<\/strong><\/span>) lies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">When we die, He lives. When we lose, He wins. When we\u2019re weak, He is strong.
