I.\u00a0 WHAT IS A FOLLOWER?<\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

Authentic Christianity is composed of (non-negotiated<\/span>) followers who are moving toward Christ and who understand that (all of life<\/span>) encompasses what we call being a Christ-follower.<\/p>\n

What is a follower?<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A follower is one who has a (growing and deepening<\/span>) relationship to the one he was following.<\/li>\n
  2. A true follower is in the process of (radical reformation<\/span>) because of the influence of the leader on his life.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    A follower develops an intimacy with the one they are following.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. That implies a (relationship<\/span>) with that person,<\/li>\n
    2. Implies the student (gets to know<\/span>) the teacher.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Psalm 42:1-2\u00a0 (p.469)\u00a0\u00a0 Psalm 63:1 (p.479)<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      II. HOW CAN I BE A FOLLOWER?<\/h4>\n

       <\/p>\n

      [Romans 11:33]\u00a0 How can I experience what Paul is talking about?<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Open the door (of your heart<\/span>).<\/li>\n
      2. (Pursue Him<\/span>)<\/li>\n
      3. Put Him in His Place.\u00a0 Chuck Swindoll calls this (Reordering Your Life<\/span>).<\/li>\n
      4. Be where He is.\u00a0 Requires two things: (Solitude<\/span>) and (Silence<\/span>).<\/li>\n
      5. (Surrender<\/span>).\u00a0\u00a0 Phil.3:7-11 (p.981)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \u201c\u201dLet us lay aside every weight, and the sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.\u201d\u00a0 Heb.12:1<\/p>\n
