I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 THE CERTAINTY OF HIS DEATH\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Did Jesus really die? Some facts:<\/p>\n

1. Jesus repeatedly said this would happen.
\n2. Pilate delivered Him to be crucified.
\n3. The Romans designed crucifixion to make sure the person was dead.
\n4. The Romans scourged Jesus within an inch of his life.
\n5. The centurion at the cross pronounced him dead.
\n6. They put Him in a tomb guarded by centurions.<\/p>\n

1) 52:13-15- Revealed Israel\u2019s Messiah and King would both (suffer and be exalted<\/strong><\/span>).
\n2) 53: 4-6- Graphic description of Jesus\u2019 suffering and death.\u00a0 You are reading about a doctrine called (penal substitution<\/strong><\/span>). It is a fancy way of saying, \u201cJesus paid the penalty for our sin.\u201d<\/p>\n
