Job 5:7- \u201cBut man is born to trouble as the sparks fly upward.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nStatistics to consider:<\/p>\n

1 billion have died in wars. 60 million die\/ year. 15 million from heart disease. 10 million from cancer. 15k children die each day. 4k by accidents on the highway. 15 million 1918 Spanish flu. 75 million from Black Death Plague (Source: John MacArthur sermon)<\/p>\n

\n\u201cWorry is an old man with bended head, carrying a load of feathers which he thinks are lead.\u201d Corrie Ten Boom<\/p>\n

\nII.\u00a0\u00a0 THE ENJOYMENT OF PEACE\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

John 14:27 teaches us:<\/p>\n

1. Who the (source<\/strong><\/span>) of peace is.
\n2. His peace is in (contrast<\/strong><\/span>) to what the world offers.
\n3. The pursuit of peace is a (vain one<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

What does Matthew 6 tell us about worry?<\/p>\n

1) Worry keeps us from enjoying (what we have<\/strong><\/span>).
\n2) Worry makes us (forget our worth<\/strong><\/span>).
\n3) Worry is completely (useless<\/strong><\/span>).
\n4) Worry replaces (God\u2019s promises<\/strong><\/span>) with (man\u2019s solutions<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

How do we defeat worry?<\/p>\n

1. Don\u2019t dwell on (tomorrow\u2019s stress<\/strong><\/span>).
\n2. Don\u2019t dwell on (yesterday\u2019s mess<\/strong><\/span>).
\n3. Give up (ownership<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
