(<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Pre-exile<\/strong><\/span>)- kings, prophets &amp; others<br \/>\n2. (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Post-exile<\/strong><\/span>)- after fall then return to Jerusalem<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>II.\u00a0 WHERE FORGIVENESS PERPETUATES\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Vertical forgiveness manifests itself in (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>horizontal forgiveness<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\nPlease turn to Matthew 18:21-35.\u00a0 (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Vertical forgiveness<\/strong><\/span>) is seen in the first part; (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>horizontal<\/strong><\/span>) in the latter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\nFor the follower of Christ to refuse to forgive is (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>hypocritical<\/strong><\/span>) but it is also (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>damaging<\/strong><\/span>). If you refuse to forgive you become that person\u2019s slave. They own you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\nTwo things we need to do:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">1) Fully focus on (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>God\u2019s forgiveness<\/strong><\/span>) of us.<br \/>\n2) Deal directly with the (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>resentment we carry<\/strong><\/span>) against another.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cWe are most like beasts when we kill. We are most like men when we judge. We are most like God when we forgive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Next Week: Theme: Truth!
