Grace comes to us in two dimensions: (vertical<\/strong><\/span>) and (horizontal<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\nA concise history of Israel:<\/p>\n

1. (Pre-exile<\/strong><\/span>)- kings, prophets & others
\n2. (Post-exile<\/strong><\/span>)- after fall then return to Jerusalem<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 WHERE FORGIVENESS PERPETUATES\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Vertical forgiveness manifests itself in (horizontal forgiveness<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\nPlease turn to Matthew 18:21-35.\u00a0 (Vertical forgiveness<\/strong><\/span>) is seen in the first part; (horizontal<\/strong><\/span>) in the latter.<\/p>\n

\nFor the follower of Christ to refuse to forgive is (hypocritical<\/strong><\/span>) but it is also (damaging<\/strong><\/span>). If you refuse to forgive you become that person\u2019s slave. They own you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nTwo things we need to do:<\/p>\n

1) Fully focus on (God\u2019s forgiveness<\/strong><\/span>) of us.
\n2) Deal directly with the (resentment we carry<\/strong><\/span>) against another.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are most like beasts when we kill. We are most like men when we judge. We are most like God when we forgive.\u201d<\/p>\n
