I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 FOUNDATION PRINCIPLES ABOUT WORK<\/p>\n

\u201cThe church has lost its hold on reality by allowing work and religion to become separate departments.\u201d\u00a0 The late Dorothy Sayers<\/p>\n

4 foundational principles: (Chuck Swindoll)<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Jesus Christ is Lord over (all of my life<\/strong><\/span>).
\n2.\u00a0 Life is not divided between what is (secular and sacred<\/strong>).
\n3.\u00a0 The nature of work is (good, not evil<\/strong><\/span>).
\n4.\u00a0 The way you do your work reflects the One (who called you to it<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 HOW SHOULD WE VIEW WORK?<\/p>\n

Read Eccl. 2: 11, 18, 24<\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.\u201d Col. 3:17<\/p>\n

\u201cWork willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.\u201d Col.3:23<\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.\u201d I Cor.10:31<\/p>\n

Turn to 2 Thess. 3:6-15<\/p>\n

Important principle: there is a big difference between (will not<\/strong><\/span>) work and (cannot<\/strong><\/span>) work.<\/p>\n
