I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 TROUBLEMAKERS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u201cFor the wolves to worry the lambs is no wonder, but for one lamb to worry another, that is unnatural and monstrous.\u201d<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0 TROUBLEMAKERS WILL ALWAYS BE \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A comparison between Gaius (G) and Diotrephes (D):<\/p>\n

G was graciously hospitable; D was ungraciously inhospitable. G loved the truth and loved everyone humbly; D refused the truth and loved himself, and threatened everyone from his position of self-appointed authority in the church. One submitted to the words of truth; the other spouted off words of contempt.<\/p>\n

What can we learn from God\u2019s Word about troublemakers?<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Being in ministry is (messy<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Two actions are suggested toward divisive people: (Observation<\/strong><\/span>) and (Isolation<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Know what hills you (you want to die on<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Check your own (heart and attitude<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n
