5 ladies are mentioned in Jesus\u2019 genealogy:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Tamar<\/strong><\/span>)- Gen.38<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Rahab<\/strong><\/span>)- Joshua 2 & 6<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Ruth<\/strong><\/span>)- Ruth<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Bathsheba<\/strong><\/span>)- 2 Samuel 11<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Mary<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

One word describes this whole scene: (grace<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 THE \u201cGO BEFORE\u201d PEOPLE \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This couple could be \u201cposter people\u201d for a (righteous<\/strong><\/span>) couple and a (quiet<\/strong><\/span>) God.<\/p>\n

\n

The name Zechariah means (the Lord has remembered<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

\n

He is told several things:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He would have a son and call him John.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 John was to be different. He would be great before the Lord; he must refrain from wine and strong drink; be filled with the HS from mother\u2019s womb.<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 John\u2019s mission? Turn many of the (children of Israel<\/strong><\/span>) to the Lord. He would be the (forerunner<\/strong><\/span>) to the One who was to come.<\/p>\n
