Scripture: Eccl. 3: 1-15<\/strong><\/h1>\n

 <\/p>\n

I.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 TIME HAS NO MEANING WITHOUT GOD<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Solomon says it all comes down to a life of measurable chunks which he calls (matters<\/strong><\/span>). The NLT calls them (activities<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

Keep in mind what Solomon has been teaching us in the previous two chapters: if this cursed world is all there is, then all our actions in this life are futile.<\/p>\n

One writer calls this poem (the quiet versus the disquiet<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

A couple questions to consider:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What is the (profit?<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What is the (purpose?<\/strong><\/span>)<\/p>\n

<\/h4>\n

II.\u00a0\u00a0 TIME HAS MEANING WITH GOD \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

God\u2019s most impeccable timing is in Gal.4:4- \u201cWhen the right time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman\u2026\u201d (NLT)<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.\u201d Rom.5:6 (NLT)<\/p>\n

What is verse 11 teaching us:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God has made everything (beautiful<\/strong><\/span>) in its time.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God has put (eternity<\/strong><\/span>) in our hearts.<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God has not (revealed<\/strong><\/span>) His eternal plan.<\/p>\n

3 applications:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wait for God\u2019s time.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Live your whole life knowing that there is a time for you to die.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Make good use of whatever time you have.<\/p>\n
