The cultural problem: Jews and (Samaritans<\/span>) did not get along.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2 things stand out about His request:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. It was culturally incorrect for a man to (speak to any woman<\/span><\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  2. Jews did not speak to Samaritans.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \n

    2. FROM BONDAGE TO FREEDOM \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    \n

    \u201cThere are two views once can have toward Satan: to disbelieve he exists, or to have an unhealthy interest in him.\u201d\u00a0 C.S. Lewis<\/p>\n

    \n

    Several things come into play here:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. The entrenchment of evil was so tenacious that uprooting it took more than one command, even from Jesus.<\/li>\n
    2. These demons knew their theology.\u00a0 James 2:19 says, \u201cEven the demons believe\u2026and shudder.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
