(v.1)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus taught in (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>parables<\/strong><\/span>). (v.2)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus\u2019 first words are important: (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Listen to this!<\/strong><\/span>). (v.3)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">A good listener allows the Word to (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>take root in his heart<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">A good listener takes care what he\/she (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>listens to<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">A good listener (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>hears<\/strong><\/span>) the truth and (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>shares it<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">A good listener learns to (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>wait dependently<\/strong><\/span>) on God.\u00a0 See I Cor. 3:6<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The drawback to not listening:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They hear but never (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>hear<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 (10-12)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Their disbelief led Jesus to teach in (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>unexplained riddles<\/strong><\/span>). (33-34)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Missing out on (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>peace and calm<\/strong><\/span>).
