Saying #1 from the Cross: Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.

Offering forgiveness isn’t natural – it’s supernatural – like Christ.
The product of offering forgiveness to others is Freedom and Peace
Harboring unforgiveness is an insult to God’s mercy toward you.

Saying #2 from the Cross: I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.

The Criminal’s Confession:

He acknowledges that he is (a guilty sinner)
He recognizes the uniqueness of Jesus
He realized his (eternal destiny) was enjoined to Christ and demonstrated faith in the coming kingdom of Christ
