OVCF Fall 2013 Ladies Bible Study

The Bible is a love story and even on our worst day, God won’t leave us. No matter how often we mess up, God loves His broken people.  This is the theme of Lisa Harper’s study “Malachi: A Love That Never Lets Go”.

Lisa is both a hilarious storyteller and theological scholar and is anything but stereotypical.  She has directed women’s ministries, obtained a masters in theological studies, written 10 books and is now touring with Women of Faith.

This discussion-based study includes a video teaching each week and time to discuss how the material most resonates with you.  Between sessions is study material segmented into chunks (instead of days) so you can complete it whenever you have time.  Malachi is the last book in the Old Testament, marking the end of the “Old Revelation” and the beginning of more than 400 years when God’s voice wasn’t recorded.  This is God’s last speech before the coming of Jesus Christ.

The 8 week study will meet at OVF, 338 St. Hwy 34, starting Tuesday evening, Sept. 17th from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Or you can choose a mid-day class starting Wednesday, Sept. 18th from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. You can, as usual, come to whichever class weekly that is most convienant for you!  Registration deadline is Monday, Sept. 9th
