  • Baby wipes
  • Diapers, size 3 and up
    *Pampers & Huggies brands especially needed due to skin sensitivities!
  • Pull-ups, ALL sizes needed

Backpack Buddies: November 13 – December 4

Over 200 students in our community do not have enough to eat at home. Our Christmas-time focus this year will be collecting specific food for the Backpack Buddies program at S-OCS. We are keeping our list targeted on the specific items below in the hopes that we will be able to collect more of each of these to help more students.  Please return items to OVCF so we may deliver them prior to  Christmas Break! If you have questions, please see Diana.

Backpack Buddies needs:

Ramen noodles

Little Debbie-Cosmic brownies, Fancy cakes or Nutty Buddies

Fruit snacks

Snack-size chips, pretzels, goldfish crackers

Operation Christmas Child 2022

We have ordered shoeboxes! Once they arrive, we will have them   available for anyone who’d like to pack one for Samaritan’s Purse. We will include packing info in each box for your convenience!

Please  return them no later than Sunday, Nov. 13 so we may take them to the collection site.

Spring Day of Service – Sunday May 15

We have the opportunity to help some folks in town by cleaning their gutters and/or cleaning up flower beds/yards for spring. We also need folks who like to visit! If you can help with the physical work or want to visit the folks we help, please sign up at the info table! We will provide  a light lunch for you & we plan to work from approx. 1:30-3:30.

Backpack Buddies

We are collecting items all month long!  Please pick up a list of needs at the info table and bring donations to OVCF.  Bags are sent home weekly & over school breaks with children to prevent hunger when they are away from school! Over 200 children, pre-school through high school age benefit from this outreach!
